Feeding chickens lupin seed ?

I read in J Seymour's SS book that you can feed chucks lupin seed - we have lots of the wild ones in the hedgerows just podding up now - does anyone else feed them to their chucks ? or is there anything I should know before I go and pick them ?

orange pips

We have a lot of oranges that we use for juice and make the odd batch of marmalade so we get a lot of orange pips - does anyone know if its ok to freeze the pips and use them later say for jam making when its the soft fruit season rather than buying pectin ?
