strawberry works very well...i guess you could do it with any fruit as long as you get the balance right.....and remember to squeeze lemon juice with which ever fruit you use.

kiwi would be good ...might have to try that next :lol:

Strawberry Curd

400g pummet of fresh strawberries 2 dessert spoons cornflower 4 eggs 325g caster sugar 225g butter Squeeze of lemon juice whisk eggs and put into sauce pan, whisk strawberries and add, along with the rest of the ingredients, to the eggs, stir with a balloon whisk over a medium heat, untill it thicke...

Thanks MLH used a ceramic paint that you can get in any art or craft shop...the gold edging came with a small kit of paints, and comes out like piping icing sugar Bake it afterwards and it becomes dishwasher safe aparently....i dont have a dishwasher to find out, but washes well in the sink. must ad...

ceramics

Recently we had a few bits of white ceramics from and old dinner set that were chipped...we had already given the good stuff away...but were left with oddments

so i am slowly giving them a new life...what do you think?

I know wild garlic is up as is some young nettles(although not many nettles yet) thats in Aberdeenshire though..we seem to be a month behind up here :lol:

As for mounting the others :lol: my female ducks bonk all the time which is quite hysterical to watch but I've not heard of that amongst hens!
glad mines not the only one there then :lol: had a triple decker yesterday one female on another then darren the drake climbed ontop :shock: :lol:

:dave: Just watch Dave Hamilton on working lunch, was really good, although i was disappointed with the end of the show...especially with the hosts attitude at the end, when he said " i had a 400 year old hedge that i managed to kill in two weeks, so maybe not good for me" He was negative ...
