Would this now mean the eggs are...

Hi, i have 16 week old pygmy goat kids which i have bottle fed since they were two weeks old. i adore them, they are now very tame and affectionate, but it was very time consuming in the beggining. I apologise for cousing such a stir in what seemed at the time a simple question. Well at least we are all informed correctly now, so there is no excuse. I really appreciate everyones input, it has been a most interesting read, annoying as the rule from DEFRA is, it does make sense, and it is up to ...

[quote="Jean"]But if your chickens roam around the garden (as mine are about to) and the compost heaps are also in the garden (as are mine) what do you do? Put up a "No entry to chickens" sign? (I'm obviously talking peelings here, not meat) There must be an artist here who could...

Hi, thank you for the feedback. My kids are pygmy goats and are about 3 and a half weeks old, one is slightly bigger than the other and more boisterous, the smaller one was continually rejected from its mother as it was a chewer rather than a sucker not too comfortable for mum. They both seem well a...

Hi, just saw your question and dilema on whether to have chickens in the back garden or not in suburbia/ I would say definately yes. We had six ex-battery hens in our 80 foot garden semi in a town. It was great to give these ladies a loving home and the freedom of a garden to scratch dig and roam. t...
