Of course it will work. They're trees, not houseplants, even if tiny. As for pots, I remember a Ladybird book (when my daughter was a tot) showing how to start off a bonsai in the skin of half a grapefruit. No, they mustn't be glazed, AW - it stops the evaporation which is the process that cools the interior.

We've got trusses on the Red Robin - they were the ones we started in the hydroponic unit but proved far too tall. They're well ahead of all the others though.

We also have lots of lettuce - care of the aforementioned hydroponics.
