we only have a nesting house for our ladies and they free roam the garden all day, shutting them in for any more than a day/night would be torture. im gonna have to build them a proofed run

i have a jack russel who is a b88ger for running after rabbits. she is chipped and wears a tagged collar , but as fee fairy says there are no dog wardens or police with chip readers . so if and when she slips her collar it would take a good Samaritan willing to pay a vet consultation fee for her to ...

no advice to give sorry :dontknow: , but just to say that happened to my sisters cat, he was a very friendly chatty fluff ball who "disappeared" along with the next -but- one neighbour when they moved . my sister and the dog still miss him terribly. short of a tracking gps type chip there'...

i use my car to incubate yoghurt, heat the milk to blood heat whisk in a small tub of yoghurt put it in a jar or tupperware and leave in the back seat of car ( which is always parked in full sun ) overnight , it holds the heat just long enough for the yog to do its thing.

i hope our chickens never learn to use the catflap, its all i can do to keep them out of the kitchen as it is, if the door is open they will peck at the dogs and cats to get them away from the food bowls ,stupid dogs run off terrified of tiny bantams!

my sister uses on as a night light, its just a nice glow not enough to see by tho try amazon they can do them a bit cheaper than the shops

my mams busy freaking out coz my brother is out there at the mo , he says theyve been evacuated to cairns and put up at a uni campus . them poor ausies have a had a rough few months of it !

ive enjoyed Hugh's latest campaign (as usual!) and i have to agree its not only us the public but those who supply our fish, i look for alternatives in the stoopermarket and shops ( i Hate salmon and dyed haddock!) but all i ever find are the big 3. i would love to see more fish and chippies serving...
