Re: European trend to recycling leads to mass shortage...
Perhaps I should pass on my next-door-neighbours address - he hoards wheely bins! Every other week when its non-recycling bin collection he puts out at least 2 full bins - one at either end of his property. It infuriates me! I believe he gets hold of them when people move out of council houses. Love...

Re: If its not one thing...
So glad you're on the way to getting it sorted. When I split up with my ex I suddenly got contacted by all sorts of people chasing money - I have an unusual surname & I was very easy to find! - mainly for stuff he had run up in joint names without my knowledge (how stupid of me to trust a man &a...

Wanted (please) - Leg Rings for Hens x 4
As people probably know, we now have 4 rescued hens. At the moment they are quite feather-less and we can use their lack of feather patterns to identify them. Two of them do have striking differences (one with a large comb, one with a dropped wing) but I spent 20 minutes last night watching the othe...

Re: Women's health: what wearing a bra will do to you
Yep, I'm with Annpan & Hamster there. I get measured regularly & make sure I readjust straps after washing bras so they are comfy. I prefer underwired for keeping boobs where they need to be & not risk injury! And I agree with deoderants being more of a problem Fee. Although I disagree a...

Re: how green are your cats/ dogs
MrsFlibble - did you know that your guinea pigs can help you recycle veg scraps? Our 3 indoor piggies (I've kept guinea pigs for the past 30 years!) love pepper stalks, melon skins (a rare treat when we're making fruit juices!), carrot peelings, cauliflower leaves. Not too much lettuce though or it ...

Re: Poorly chickens but I don't know what
Could they just be going through a moult period? Egg production will drop and obviously they will shed their feathers during this time. You can help by giving them some extra protein but basically you need to wait for them to get their new coats! This is the reason battery hens are culled (or thankf...

Re: Women's health: what wearing a bra will do to you
I whole-heartedly agree that getting remeasured frequently is a very good idea. M&S do a great service. My bra size has changed a lot in the past 18 months as I've gone from pregnancy, breast-feeding to "still carrying a load of baby weight"! I'd not be able to go bra-less all the time...

Re: The Ish home haircut
I have a fairly easy maintenance hair cut - fringe at front, half my hair is one length & I have a large "undercut" - an area on the back of my head which is shaved. This is so I don't get too hot when I have fake dreads/braids in my hair. So a once-over this area with clippers set to ...
