Well done Ann. Remember that it's statistically* more dangerous to cycle on pavements/foot paths than in the road, not to mention illegal and terribly slower. average person is an eighth of a horsepower or a bit less than 100 Watts. I think that might be under reading a little.....even back when I was suffering from PVFS I could put out around 200W for sustained periods. OK, I do ride a bike a lot but no more than would be possible for the average person...

Went to my plot yeasterday and similar sight....all the sprouts and broccoli had been ravaged. I had netting up but it looked like one of the scoundrals had dive bombed it - feathers everywhere.....hope he's learnt his lesson. Back to the "It's a Pound" shop for more nets - 2mx10m for a £...
