Sunflower seeds sound good, I've got one growing in the garden, do you think I could just keep those seeds and sprout them or do I need to go and buy some? The reason I keep my sprouting jar on the kitchen worktop is to stop me forgetting it, having had several lots of sprouts that turned into PLANT...

Well, what lots of cat lovers as well as selfsufficienters! We have had cats for years and I just wonder about cat food. Mine seem to be addicted to the most expensive stuff -what do manufacturers put into it that seems to get cats hooked? Would trying to give them " home made" cat food be...

I looked in my diary and I've got a dentist's appt. - I don't think I want to try out selfsufficientish on that!!!!!
