I would take them (as long as they would be happy liveing free) but Glasgows a bit far away! I'm up in Aberdeenshire.

And yes I love my chooks as surrogate children infact I think the broodiness I should feel at my age has been transferred to chooks. At least it's cheaper!

I believe it's a louse they come in all shapes and sizes. I had them (or rather the chooks did!) a while ago and couldn't shift them with louse powder so used frontline which was instant death!

I have 3 broody chickens and decided to put them to good use by incubateing some eggs for me, which I put under 2 of them yesterday eve. Thanks for the replys, that's a shame I thought they were something useful. :( I'm in grampian highlands, they had berries on when I moved in the beginning of July and have only now ripened. I thought they would be edible as there are various fruits dotted around the garden in no particular order.

Help me identify this berry please?

Hello all. :flower: I have some tall fruit bushes in front of my house which have finally swollen with fruit but I have no idea what they are.
