Re: I've been stung!

Know how you feel. I am plagued by wasps nests each year. They build one in the step at the front door (despite my attempts at cementing it) and a couple in back garden. I clad myself in 'C.S.I' garb of several jumpers , hats and rubber gloves and spray the nest with that foam stuff and run away ver...

Re: What to have at the end of the garden?

Don't know any quiet birds. :dontknow: All mine carry on alarming when showing off after laying an egg! Had a few comments from my neighbours.

Re: I went crazy today...

Here, here...i make jars and jars of chutneys and jams from foraged stuff, what i've grown or what people give me. I too find it relaxing and therapeutic. Although my daughter and i don't eat all of it i give loads away or sell them at charity coffee mornings.
Keep it up everyone

Re: Growing Peas

I think one of the Gardeners World chaps sowed peas by the handful too.
Not in my garden as mice, slugs and hens decimate most things. More netting anyone?

The house idea of planting them looked great. A change from the willow idea. Good Luck.
