Re: Alternatives to the Mooncup? (a women only thread i guess!)

Hi all,

I havent been here for a while and when i return it seems the thread i started has got quite a momentum going. Really glad it seems to be helping other people and not just me, although i still havent got into the habit of using the mooncup. Maybe i'll try again next month...

Re: Raspberry glut

Thanks for the suggestions! I am defo trying out the wine, not so sure about the vodka though!

How do you dry them? cos that sounds space saving too (freezer is now getting rather full of rasps!)

Raspberry glut

Hi y'all

I have tons and tons and tons of raspberries. Which is cool.

I am eating some, freezing some, making jam out of some.

Any other ideas? Can you make wine out of raspberries?

:?

I dunno. I'm not veggie either (although i am picky over where my meat comes from which leads me to be effectively meat-free!) but i am intrigued by what these "creatures" actually are!

Anyone else got a view on Sea Pearls?

I am intrigued by sea pearls, but the website says that they are creatures - so presumerably one to avoid if you are vegatarian or vegan?

Re: New to the board

Hi all.. I got my allotment today!!!!! I am SO SO excited. Its a half allotment, apparently - 14m x 7m, and i dont have to pay until March because the person who is giving it up has still got some leeks and cabbages on there, which i have to respect. But that is ok, cos there is still loads of room ...

Alternatives to the Mooncup? (a women only thread i guess!)

Hi!

Last year i bought a mooncup and have tried several times to use it but i just cannot get on with it - i find it way too painful, which i am a bit gutted about tbh.

Can anyone suggest any green alternatives?

Thanks

Re: The elephant in the room... AKA... the American Election

I have a thought about the whole Obama is black thing... Now...i dont normally say my opinions out loud, cos i am shy and dont like being shouted at, so be kind... I think we will all agree that the colour of someones skin doesnt mean they are more or less likely to make a good president. The fact t...
