Re: But WHY shouldn't I ...
I don't understand either For decades I have been re-heating meat such as chicken I would have a roast one day, then use the left over meat to make a chicken curry and finally boil up the carcass to make a stew I can understand that you shouldn't re-warm most foods but cooking them again is fine. Re: I'm going to build an electric car........
What are you going to use as your base vehicle Al?
Are you going to use an existing car or are you going to build it from scratch?
I would try and keep things as simple as possible and adapt an existing electric vehicle like a forklift or a milk float
Good luck and keep us informed

Re: Why the SS life?
Well my new/old bike is now fully refurbished and is ready for the road and because I have bits and bobs of bikes around the place it has cost me nothing over and above the £40 for the bike last weekend. Probably worth 5 times what I paid for it now http://i38.photobucket.com/albums/e121/mackerelbus...

What a fantastic idea
We live in a motorhome on a campsite so we have no garden but there must be hundreds of gardens that never get used
Got me thinking now

Re: Why the SS life?
Don't sell your bikes. Unless they are a really good make you will not get that much for them. Better to keep them and use them

Re: Cyclists against the world!
Also, What are your views on Cycle paths? Most of the cycle paths on my commute are badly designed and in some cases downright dangerous however motorist seem to be under the impression that if a cycle path is provided then it is the duty of the cyclist to use them. I always thought that it was a ma...
