Re: Chickens and Wild Garlic
Thanks oldjerry Yes the Turkeys are, well, amusing... They were kept by the previous owner for Xmas 2011 but they became pets to his son, so they were still here when we moved in, they're only a year old this spring so its fun and games, the stag spends all day romancing the smallest chicken in the ...

Re: The dangers of returning to the real world......

Then I get to drive into Manchester everyday for work, its like getting slapped in the face every mile further from the house I go. What i do notice is when off work ...

Re: Meeting other ishers
I agree, I've agonised (slight exaggeration) about the lack of people I come into contact with who 'understand' me.
I tentatively think we could start something here...plus i'll need help LOTS of help come autumn drinking all the cider, perry and wine i'll have to make!

Re: From Preston Lancs, hello again
Funny you say that, I'm doing the London marathon next month and I don't really watch TV never mind soaps (hate them) I'm not a great runner, still starting out really and had a lot of injuries (back and foot) We should meet up at some time, I work long hours and have sporadic days off, but I'm up f...
