Re: Bread maker help please

I have had various breadmakers, a morphy richards one, a cookworks one and a breville one. The breville one was the best one, until my daughter bought me a Panasonic SD 257, and ive got to say its brilliant, i use it every day and wouldnt have any other kind now. It is easy to use and never fails to...

Re: Food dehydration and storage

I too bought a cheapo one from westfalia, thinking that if it turned out to be the best gadget i'd ever bought i'd invest in one of the big excalibur models (couple of hundred quid) but i've got to admit ive stuck with the cheap one. I have mainly used it for drying herbs and tomatoes to pack them i...

Re: Scrap soup..

I regularly make this kind of thing, especially as our local farm shop usually has netting sacks of carrots or onions for about £1.50. Re: pasta machines

I bought a pasta machine when i first got married (20+ years ago), tried it once, couldnt get the hang of it and it dissapeared a few years later in a house move. Decided to become more selfsufficient last year, more home bread making etc and decide to have another crack at pasta. I placed a wanted ...

Re: Your favourite 'ish flavoured book

Been working quite a lot lately but have managed to find some "me" time to read some of JS's book. I think i made a very good choice. There is some really useful info in there. Also had a quick glance through the "precycle" and found some brilliant ideas in there. I had loads of ...
