Hello,
I need to re stock my quail but cant seem to find anyone who has them in Dorset or South Somerset. Can anyone help with suggestions. My incubator has broken so I can't rear my own at the moment.

Re: Soap Nuts
I have used them for a while but find they dont get stained clothes clean but on clothes that are not dirty!!! they are fine.
Also once used several times to wash clothes I keep them and when I have a reasonable amount I boil them up with water to make a liquid soap shampoo which works fine.

Barrren hens? Immature combs?
I have 5 black Pekin bantams which I have had for over a year and only one is laying. Her comb is as it should be,being red and quite large. The 5 other hens have tiny pale combs and have not laid a single egg between them, whilst the larger comb one does lay every other day at mo. I believe they may...

I take 2 pills in the morning with one epilim,2 at lunchtime and then 4 at night with another epilim and a propanalol. Although I still get...

Re: handmade xmas ideas
I decided to make all my Xmas pressies this year (seemed like a good idea at the time!). An easy thing to do is to make a felt or fabric heart with a pocket made at the bottom of the heart into which you put a mulled wine spices bag, made of muslin, with a card on how to make this. Also made some jewe...
