Re: Stupid, stupid people......

Also please don't delete this as you did Pete's asking for the book on Facebook. It means a lot to him as it was his Grandmothers. So if you have sold it, just be honest about it .

Re: Stupid, stupid people......

Didnt think you lived so rural Julie. When we visited you it was only two minutes from a small town! Connemarra is rural. Also people are not always 'in tune' with people who see to them selves! You have to have an understanding of other folk. Give and take. That's what Pete say's too. Also I would ...

Re: St John's Wort Vs. Prozac.

What about trying Passiflora tablets or liquid for anziety. I had a nervous breakdown quite a few years ago, went to a Herbalist in Galway, and she made up my own medicine. It was like an old-fashioned chemist's shop. The main ingredient was Passiflora  I turned over a new leaf within a...

Gosh, wish I could have 'em, but I live in Co. Mayo, Southern Ireland. A bit too far to travel in your lunch-break

Re: what other boards do you read and think helpful

May I just say that we are a very small group in Co. Mayo, Republic of Ireland. We started off a while ago, and have had a few hicc-cups along the way  But things have been moving along quite smoothly now, and we are starting to tick over nicely. Of course we would welcome new members, so if a...

Re: New Years Eve

I really look forward to New Years Eve. I look at it as a new, fresh, clean start to a New Year. My 2010 Diary is already filled in with birthdays, anniversaries, dead lines, etc.
Whether I keep to my New Years Resolutions is another matter :help:

Re: Best flavoured tomato ?

In this household we love the 'Balconi Cherry' Tomatoes. Absolutely bursting with taste. We also grew seeds that were sent from America last year. Must try and find out which variety they were. Somewhere it will be in my filing system. That's another story

Re: Mayo Plodders

I am also a member of the Mayo Plodders. We are a very new group, but would like to expand members. It does not cost nothing apart from a few words. Feel free to join. It is a great set up, no rules, totally laid-back, advice within the group. Life is too serious as it, so why should it be anything ...
