ADG - I believe Jack Russells and Labradors are statistically most common biters. Could be just cos there are a lot of them. Not sure about other statistics. border collies dont make good pets they take a lot of stimulation as a breed on the whole, and they have what could be considered a lot of strange quirks, however a genuine collie greyhound is a different matter, all the strangeness and hyper activity seems to disapear, and the merles look stunning ...

if you have a victim bird the best thing to do is hang a cauliflower up so it is swinging freely and at a height where the birds have to stretch their necks to reach, this occupies them leaving the hen to recover, they wont lay unless they have been throught their moult if the feathers are growing b...

grandad used to line his potato trenches all leaves then put his seed pots on top of them before covering over, he then used to pull the cleanest most even pots you have ever seen

done that, and carboots and free cycle, typically I have seen them everywhere until I want some, altho I did get some heat straps for the buckets via free-cycle in the village lol
