Re: Chickens in the trees...
That doesn't sound lazy enough. catching the blighters takes a lot of energy! I was thinking about netting the tree to stop them roosting in it?

Chickens in the trees...
yesterday we rounded up our 4 hens and clipped their right wings. (Actually it was far more chaotic and energetic than that sentence makes it sound) I penned them in with their coop and at dusk I went to check on them. The buggers had scrambled up the ivy covered fence and were roosting in the plum ...

Re: a return...
Hello all! I spent today chasing the hens to clip their wings and get them into a pen, they have been freeranging and kicking all the soul out of the garden beds. It was fun and dramatic with much falling into rose bushes. Hopefully we will get more eggs as they eat the higher protein food instead o...

Re: Foraging Phone App [brainstorming]
I am just Googling for a foraging App for my low level Android phone so would be interested to know how this is going. Plant identification is the main thing, and key features of fungus, we have so many yellow stainers around here but they look and smell great before the yellow shows!) a feature all...

Re: weight loss 2013
Hullo all, I am here as I still have 13 odd kilograms (yes post baby weight can be odd) to lose to get back to pre-baby weight (as usual I ate everything (mostly healthy) that didn't move out of my way fast enough andput on 30 odd kgs- did this with the two other pregnancies and still ended up a cou...

Re: moon cup still fits
Well I should be right as I now have washable maternity pads from post baby loss (also I got my diva cup post baby anyway but now I am post three babies.. must stop having them!)...I couldn't go back to the disposable stuff, it's just not nice for lady bits really.

GA- Changing the compost EVERY year.. but I am so lazy! Ok I can do that...and watering them with healthy stuff, good. Better than not really remembering to water them at all!
Annemieke- that looks very interesting I will have a look through everything there.
Ah. It's good to be back!

Re: Container Gardening Gurus, show me your tips!
Thanks OJ! I have seen the shoe organiser for hernbs, I quite like that, better then planting in an old bra which I do consider a bit bonkers! I think that refreshing the soils and watering enough are going to be my biggest fail areas...trying to grow radishes again as of today. I have never succeed...

Container Gardening Gurus, show me your tips!
Hrmm I don't think that came out right. Hello all,I have been languishing away from Ish for a while, we were going to move then the whole deal fell over and then I had another baby so my attempts at courtyard gardening are not spectacular (to say the least) as I was distracted, pregnant and a bit de...

She tends to disappear for a while and be active on Facebook, tumbler and goodness knows what. She also has health issues which can require testing etc which I think she has been busy with lately but I do know she is out and about in Cyber space!

Re: Asian beauties
hmm I normally only get Solar panels or fat belly ads but I have a flash one for some sort of smart phone right now- they obviously aren't using proper adbots. my phone is older than my children and my car and has zilch features. that's the way I like it too.
