The only question, then, is how much power it would develop - enough to turn a generator? I don't know. I was tottering around the internet the other night when a rather interesting idea struck me... Would it be possible/feasible to build a Generator (Most likely 12v or so, bit scared of bodging up a 240v supply :shaking: ) Using a Stirling engine as the driving force. Hi there, So far as i know (and i must stress i'm working from memory here) you can run a diesel generator on vege oil quite nicely, make sure you strain it through a fine woven cloth before you fill her up though, don't imagine chips in the fuel lines are fun to get out.
