tomato varietys less prone to blossom rot

are some tomato varieties less prone to blossom rot. i tried calcium and steady watering and get problems need a variety less prone pls any suggestions

how to stuff a large marrow

ok i have a large marrow i usually cut one end off scoop out and peel outside skin then cook mince and stuffing add a couple of eggs mix it together and put in the marrow place on foil wrap in foil and twist the ends and bake for an hour or so i used to do this alot years back but i forgot a bit hop...

i have noticed on allotments there is always race to be first personally i think its time to hold back weather been unpredictable.i have overwintering caulis in greenhouse, strawbs and sweet peas springcabbage outside along with leeks, parsnips tundra cabbage and broad beans garlic onions . i normal...

apple trees advice pls

we have a 20ft high apple tree on our allotment in the corner dont know the variety its been there years ! we set a couple plum trees lat year we want to get a bramley seedling variety on the parkers bulb site it dont give any addy info if it needs a pollinator this is all double dutch my neighbours...

sowed some more cuecumber seed and pink bana squash earthed up spuds in poly tunnel cut wood for net props

early thisam at home sowed telephone peas which been sprouted on news paper in modules transplanted loads parsley into window box transplanted toms and the day is syill young lol

fri tidting up a bit after young axholes decided to cause a bit of havoc we have security fencing and they still get over grrr then more forking over the spud patch . sat mrs g and me had fun in the drizzly rain which stopped then started etc lol mrs g forked over the rhu strawb rasp goos and black ...

have put a table in me north facing window to put my growing seedling lins on its sort north facing i have a net curtain at the window i have took it down so they can get light would you leave the net curtain up ? shall i rotate me seedlings so they dont bend option 2 would be take to poly tunnel at...
