Thorium a green alternative energy source

Thorium supposedly is a better choice than Uranium-based reactors since it's more environment friendly, plus a whole lot more benefits. However since Uranium had more military benefits, Thorium got canned. Read this link here . Stumbled on it today and I find it interesting although the article seem...

Re: Green electricity > natural gas

Yeah I read methane is even more dangerous than CO2 as a greenhouse gas. Claimed also to be one of the main component for the end of the last ice age.

Re: Twitchy eye.

So glad to find out it's not just me. This happens to me too, the why I don't know. Even if I'm not tired or stressed, I've experienced it. Plus it's not just my eye. Sometimes there's twitching on other spots of my body. I look at it but nothing... it's not moving, throbbing, twitching. Is this nor...

Re: Tomato wine?

I've not yet tried tomato wine, the canned juice perhaps, but not wine. I regularly drink tomato juice but in a mix. Quite intrigued to how tomato wine will taste. I've tried coconut wine served by locals during my last vacation and the taste and smell was really something I couldn't quite handle.

Re: waterless urinal

I heard waterless urinals will need as much cleaning since without water to flush it down after every use, urine tend to stick and smell. Ya try not flushing the toilet bowl after relieving yourself a couple times and it will have that pungent urine smell, all the more if the men have been drinking ...

Re: What to feed my oinkers

They're not pet pigs are they? My grandfather used to raise a few pigs to sell in the market. I know he fed them corn most. Oats and wheat too but mostly corn. Also a mix of protein supplement which he buys from the store. And yeah I don't remember him giving the pigs meat from off the ...

Re: Does anybody else do this?

I've tried that what phil55494 suggests. The leaves, peeled back, do make a great holder. Have you guys tried without the leaves and put em on a BBQ? Put a stick into the the corn too, like you do with a BBQ. I like the taste better when it's grilled.

Re: Grey water

Can grey water at least be "cleaned up" a bit, like through filtration or some other process so it can be used for flushing toilets or urinals and not get the porcelain dirty or smelly?
