What about a swiss roll? There's no fat in a swiss roll and it's not replaced with anything, just whisk 3 eggs with 3oz of sugar and stir in 3 oz of flour. You can cook it in a more usual cake shape if you don't want to roll it.

I've found that the best way to be given and give away used baby and children's things is at children's groups - so places like La Leche League meetings, NCT post-natal groups, playgroups.
