You could try watering in the morning thats what I do as I think that at least the door is open and there is an airflow to stop any blight spreading,it's worked for me so far...................prob get wiped out with blight next year for tempting fate. :lol:

I don't grow potatoes but they come up in my compost heap from thrown out spuds,I took out a couple of kilo's when I shifted the heaps over last month and they are growing again,you have given me the idea and I think I will try leaving that heap until Christmas just to see. :flower:

When my radish grow too big and tough I slice them thinly and use in a stirfry instead of water chestnuts and also add the leaves shredded. they are very good. :flower:

I'm growing Sub Artic Plenty outside for the first time and it's doing really well and is about the only tom I have that isn't affected by blight after our rainy spring and early summer.

one-ingredient ice cream

I found this online and tried it last night and its amazing, Take two large bananas peal and cut into rounds,put onto a plate and freeze for 2 hours then put into a food processor or blender and blend till smooth,it will go into crumbs at first but keep going,it will turn all of a sudden into smooth...

I take collapsible boxes when I do my main shop and transfer anything in plastic bags or containers into cotten bags I made and leave the wrapping fot the shops to dispose of,and I also carry some cotten bags with handles in my bag for impulse buys. That is our local group Dumfries and Galloway is very wide and quite shallow over 100miles wide.
