Recipe Sought
I have been making jams, chutneys, marmalades and butters for some time now and someone I work with is desperate for me to make some gooseberry, bramble apple and mint jam/jelly - but I can't find the recipe anywhere. Can anybody help me with such a concoction ?

Re: The Gravity of It All....
Thanks for all your help, guys. I normally just give the hydrometer a bit of a spin between my fingers to get rid of the bubbles attached to it. I bottled it last night as it looked good so will find out what it is like in 10 days or so......

Re: The Gravity of It All....
Thanks for that, Boboff ! My initial gravity was 1.35 and the latest was 1.20. Subtract one from the other and I get 0.15. Divide that by .0074 and I get 20.2 % !! Is that right ?

Re: Horseradish vodka
I can confirm just how good the HV is - I went to your recent book signing in Bristol and tried it there - I am sure my voice has now dropped two octaves

Hope somebody out there can help ! I need yeast to make apple wine but in my brewing box of tricks, I have found some yeast nutrient and some super yeast wine compound. Will either of these do instead ?
