Re: What are your best beauty tips, tricks and secrets?

Cleanse the face in the morning and in the evening, moisturize every time afterwards
do a peeling or exfoliation once a week (works wonders!)
drink plenty of water
have enough sleep

Re: In what ways aren't you green?

My computer and all the electrical gadgets that I have - mind you, I always switch the main plugs off when they are not in use, and put my computer into sleeping mode when I'm not in front of it.

Re: Baking with Spelt Flour

I regularly use spelt flour for breadmaking, although I normally mix it with other flour 2 parts spelt flour, 1 part wholemeal flour, or kamut flour (such a great flour!)

I love the idea, it's a great one!

If this could be done with Garden Organic, I would definitely join - not sure about Marshall Seeds.

Re: Quittin' Smoking

I've quit smoking 7 years ago - although I was never a heavy smoker. I smoked a fair bit when I was a student, but once I came over here to England I only smoked socially. And back then I didn't have much money, so my social life went a bit downhill as well - so did my cigarette consum. In the end I...

Re: My phobia of metal.

I've saved a ton of paper baking sheets on silicone baking sheets, also silicone muffin forms are excellent.

I've given away my silicone cake forms though, they were useless.

Re: Dressing Up

If it's done in a very creative way it can look cool, but 98 % of the times it just looks bad.

I love elaborate makeup and fancy clothes (preferably if I make them myself *G*) but I loathe parties with a theme.

Re: trick or treat

I bought sweets for the first time (well, the previous flats we lived in where so hidden that no one would have found us lol) - but no one came :( Oh well, their loss, my gain.

Re: Can anyone ID this fruit tree please?

Agreed, looks like a Mirabelle - I love them :) Back in my childhood I practically lived on the Mirabelle tree on the neighbouring empty ground - I did all my homework there, reading books, etc *chuckle* And in summer/autumn I had the added advantage of having food right under my nose!
