Re: Higher fat meat rabbits?
You need to move to the feathered type, like ducks and geese. I can't think of any small (ish) furry animal that you can eat except maybe coypu, better known as water rats. They are actually round tailed beavers and they can be eaten in pate or stews. They used to be farmed for their fur, but then t...

Re: What will grow under and around fruit bushes or trees?
You can plant raspberries too. However, there are a couple of but: 1- They may not like to place and die. 2- They may like the place and simply take over... I have planted mine near my blackcurrant and now I need to treat the monster ever growing bushes (I have 2 on either side of the blackcurrant) ...

Re: rhubarb and Rabbits
Talking of rabbits, do you give them seeds like wheat or oat? If so which one and why? I simply ask because we had a rabbit for 6 weeks and I couldn't be asked to buy another lot of seeds, so she eats wheat as I feed it to the chickens... My mum used to have rabbits and always gave them oat. I wonde...

Re: Breeding Ducks/Chickens for selling
Yes there is money to be made in breeding poultry and many people do. You have to learn a lot and invest a lot though, easier to just sell the eggs. Hens are born in debt and they die in debt. Totally agrees with you about just selling the eggs. Way easier. We started last year with 4 hens, just to...
