favourites (ie when you tell them what's for dinner and they go "yesss!") -JP's (jacket potatoes) with lots of salad and choices of what goes on top -meatloaf (?!) :D -roasts! (i have in fact just done sausages but with yorkshire puds and stuffing on the side and that went down very well!)...

today my home smells of new car smell! i *love* the dashboard polish DH his for his car (he's one of these nuts that shows it and wins awards!)so everything plastic or non-food surfaced has been polished with it today! :D it's a turtle wax/bubblegum/plastic smell and i honstly can't explain why i li...

yes it is, and it feels immoral really - knowing that someone (in this case your OH) has handed over their cash and the company, simply doesn't care if it's redeemed or not.

nope, sadly having dealt with lots of customers who offer gift vouchers and they expect a certain percentage of unredeemed vouchers, and they just view the money as free

sainsburys did a big push of this a few yeas ago, maybe as many as 5 years? i did buy a couple of jugits and for a few weeks bought the bags, but they only come in 2pts andd as a family we get through 12 - 15 pints a weeks easily, so it was not cost effective or practical to buy milk that way for us...

don't try to get away without rooting hormone powder!

can i hijack this thread for a mo? i have 3 roses in our garden, all here when we rented the place, landlady wants them kept but they are really leggy! it looks like they might be shrub roses that were unattended by succesive tenants and now we have roses that are all wobbly lopsided stems to about ...

yep, service would be a good idea if it's 10 years old anyway. ask any retired quilting ladies for their recommendation, they do get their sewing machines serviced and are as tight as can be about paying for it!
