Re: Inexpensive seed suplier

I use http://www.qualityseeds4less.co.uk they are brilliant. Great seeds again without the fancy packaging. Germination rates are better than I have ever had from the bigger seed companies, postage is super quick and they are good for advice too. Highly recommended.

Re: Broad beans in polytunnel - do I need to self polinate?

I grew mine undercover in pots this year and on sunny, warm days I just moved them out of the tunnel to let the bees have them. It seems to have worked as some of the flowers are turning into little broadbean pods :-)

Re: Anyone else poo-less?

I tried that a couple of years ago. I found it was great for my hair and left it in great condition. I would have carried on but a new full time job meant my time was very pushed along with a new allotment, so I resorted to the bottle again!! :drunken:

Re: Find use for unused kitchen cabinet doors?

You could use them to make the sides of a coldframe and get some perspex to glaze the top?!

Re: What are you havesting

Going to take the first of the new potatoes that I have grown in bags in the polytunnel this weekend. At the moment we are getting herbs - various, mixed salad leaves, pak choi, radish, welsh onions and rhubarb.

Re: Bought a mooncup!!

I too bought one after what I'd been reading on here. I had looked into them a few years ago and never made the move. But having used it for the first time last month I don't think I'll be going back. :flower:
