Re: how to prepare hogweed?

Thanks folks, I will try a bit younger next time. Nice to have something other than leaves. Look forward to hearing about the Northamptonshire walk :)

Was weeding my veg patch yesterday (not easy for a forager) and ate some very tasty thistle roots - tasted like jerusalem artichokes, very tender.

Re: Goose Grass

I've been juicing it by blending with water and straining through muslin - get through quite a lot, it's really yummy.

hello from Warwickshire

Hi everyone, I dived in and posted on the foraging forum (wild garlic thread), and Milims said this: > Hi Zolou - why not pop onto the intros section and tell us a bit more about youself? So - I live in South Warwickshire and did a foraging course with Robin Harford last weekend - now very inspired ...

Re: Tons of wild garlic - any ideas?

Mmm. Did a foraging course with Robin Harford last weekend and he brought some Ramsons, food-processed with plenty of oil - it was an absolutely delicious condiment and allows you to keep it for a while (she said vaguely). I did the same with garlic mustard yesterday and though very strong on its ow...
