Re: trespassing to forage
I always forage out of hedgerows and on public footpaths, i usually find if you want something out of someone's garden i just knock on the door and ask. Re: homemade wind turbines
I've made one, I used a dynamo off a push-bike. Many people will suggest using a alternator but it won't work efficiently because it has to spin too fast, while a push-bike dynamo doesn't need as much wind speed to make it charge 12v. Re: Quarter acre plot
Thanks for that The Riff-Raff Element, it's starting to look like I'd be better off sticking to chicken, ducks and geese, which i'm fine with but any idea how many could i roughly fit in my field without it getting to crowded?

Re: Hello All

Do you have experience of any? Not that I can help I'm just interested. But I do know people who went down the...

Re: Quarter acre plot
You need to get a book or two really. Try John Seymour, or Katie Thear & Dr Alistair Fraser. No 9 birds would not keep the grass down. With all stocking it depends on the soil type, weather, weeds, average temps, slope, orientation etc etc etc. What you have asked is really not a simple questio...
