I'd be fuming too. Schools (and therefore teachers) have a duty of care to our children and are expected to act in loco parentis (sp?). As such I would have expected at the very least to be informed when the swelling did not improve with the application of an ice pack and I would not have considered...

It doesn't matter what everyone else says - they're all doing pretty much the same things by the time they get to 5 :wink: And they are all different. My oldest sat on his backside and didn't really move until he was about 15 months - but he opened his mouth at about 11 months and has barely closed ...
