As such I would have expected at the very least to be informed when the swelling did not improve with the application of an ice pack and I would not have considered...

Yay! Thanks for that reminder Martin!

I'll definitely be watching tonight, especially as it doesn't clash with World's Strongest Man (as it did last week) which is my slightly embarrassing must watch programme for the 5 days of the year it is on

I have & I couldn't put it down. So much of his work is magical and reminds me of my childhood (although I feel I'm still in it  )

What are we having to eat?

It doesn't matter what everyone else says - they're all doing pretty much the same things by the time they get to 5  And they are all different. My oldest sat on his backside and didn't really move until he was about 15 months - but he opened his mouth at about 11 months and has barely closed ...

I wanted to go to this soooooo badly but it clashes with a prebooked week near Bridlington with the whole family.

I don't suppose there is a Small Green Gathering to keep me going until 2008?

Send Stoney my best too. Too far away to physically help, but good & healthy vibes are winging their way to him and his.

I've been thinking about this blasted dinner party for days now :? Who to invite though... and just as important, who to leave out... I'm torn between people I know and people I don't but would like to talk to. Mmmmm, I don't know. Here's a bit of a list - not definitive - and i reserve the right to...

Octopus are a bit harder to come by in Northampton

But a quick google came up with this site

which looks a bit interesting.

Good luck & let us know what it tastes like.

Dave as you've never seen him before!

I zipped in to see Dave doing his Two Dead Dogs/Funky Cheesy Wha Wha thing at the Labour Club in Northampton just before Christmas & DH got a few pics. I'm sorry to say I felt a bit dodgy & had to leave before the Wha Wha's started, but I laughed a lot at 2DD. (Sorry Dave & Andy - ...
