Some useful book buying websites

I buy loads of books, and if thier out of stock at my library I either try: Green Metropolis or I check to see if an Amazon Marketplace seller has it 2nd hand. Not fantastic for books for presents I admit, but fantastic to check for books you might want to read (and in GreenMetropolis's case sell on...

Nothing wrong with being addicted to Computer Games - totally healthy thing to be addicted to!

Flavoured salts

Of all the random foodie pressies I got over Christmas the oddest is a set of 3 Breton flavoured salts from France. One's flavoured with Seaweed, another with Rose (Rosehips we assume) and the third with pepper. They'r in lovely squiggaly pop cap bottles and if it wasn't for the one with pepper I'd ...

We've got really nice big strong hemp bags from Barcelona (my parents bring them back for us) they really are great, but sometimes a bit big to pop in a handbag.

maybe if we just got some trendy fashion people to be seen with a shopping bag we could stop this plastic bag madness.

We're right in the center of Liverpool (L3) so no garden or balcony :(

Thanks for the warm welcome all of you.

There's some rule of thumb that all the produce has to come from a 100 mile radius of the market.

Ours is quite good but a bit limited.

Hello from Liverpool

Gosh, this forum is just the kind of thing I've been looking for (clicked from River cottage's site). My boyfriend and I live in a flat in Liverpool city center. We get a veg bag every week which dictates most of our cooking. My boyfriend doesn't eat meat, but we do eat fish, and any meat I do buy, ...
