Re: Flat Earthers

I actually don't care if it is man made or not. I gave up on proving it and throwing arguments around etc. Fact is we need to do something. I am not sure if you ever came across Greg Craven? This is exactly what I am talking about: Check out his Youtube video here: http://www.youtube.com/user/wonder...

But since you are from US and I think you refer to another animal as Possum (or was it Opossum?) just for clarification: this is the animal we...

Re: Donkeys

Peter - do you only have the 1 donkey? Yes only the one. But I also have a horse and those two are so close that I was wondering if I should re-name my horse "Shrek" (he would even have the body shape - LOL) . I would never keep a Donkey without a companion. They need company. My problem ...

Re: dandelion root coffee

Brilliant! I love Dandelion Tea and buy it in the organic shop. I always wondered how to make my own. Sounds really easy.

It is good for your kidneys and liver. And I like the taste of it. I make mine in a coffee plunger.

Cheers

Re: Anyone here hunt?

We do hunt. These are wild goats: http://lh3.ggpht.com/_52v7H9J18xo/SpYK33xptxI/AAAAAAAAAR0/u4qoUOxzbNA/s288/CIMG0950.JPG They were released by humans and now run wild here in New Zealand. They have no predators here. Anybody who knows a bit about goats can imagine what damage they can do on the nat...

Donkeys? "My Ass!" http://lh3.ggpht.com/_52v7H9J18xo/SpYKNZvT4dI/AAAAAAAAAQk/z-AnRXbm09w/s400/CIMG0976.JPG This is Pancho and me. He is a 2 year old Jack and up to all sort of things. I'd say Donkeys are very similar to horses. They are easily overfed if they get too rich gracing. Donkeys ...

Are you aware of the problems with goats especially foot problems? And here I believe, UK is no diferent to New Zealand. We need to trim/check hooves during the wet season at least every 2 - 3 weeks weather depending and still have limping goats all the time! And it is a smelly business! :pukeleft:...

Sorry can't really help you there since I am in New Zealand, but a couple of thoughts and most likely you know all of this already! I still thought I mention it! Do you have a shearer who can shear Angora goats or are you able to do it yourself? We had a Shearer who was a New Zealand National Champi...
