Rain, what is rain I have forgotten what it looks like.

A 12 bore would knock me off my feel so maybe ground cover would be a better option. Do you have any suggestions that I could use in a veggie patch diggernotdreamer?

I have the same problem ,orange peel spread about or put some vinegar on a spray bottle and spray around the beds. Not on any plants you want to keep as it acts as a weed killer.Cats hate the smell of vinegar.

I have been watching it for the past few days, as the sky has been crystal clear in central Victoria.

We run the whole house on solar power and I think it is great but then again we are in Australia. Having said that I would still look into it.

I don't think using an old one is a good idea. We use sets of deep cycle 6v batteries in tandum to make 12v, this runs a small household. Also it is not wise to mix and match old and new batteries as tne lod one will drag the new one down. Out here you can also get gel batteries, which are great but...

Another thing that I find really handy is a torch that you just shake. I,m not very technical but there is this magnet that slides through a coil of some sort and it powers the LED so you never have to worry about batteries going flat

There are quite a few shops that now charge you for plastic bags Bunnings and Auldi come to mind but the other big supermarkets still hand out plastic bags willy-nilly. I tend to keep a vatiety of colours and sizes in the car.

I drive, have been since I was about 12. I started by driving round the paddocks and then got my licence at 18. The car is my only means of mobility as I had polio as a child, my legs ceased to function a life time ago walking is not an option.
