Hey Muddy, the netting is a very fine plastic netting e birdies. They love to get into the compost for the worms and I hate them doin that, It doesn't actually go under there but is over the top of everything but it just don't show up too good.

Yeah Nev, but I have gotten used to the oil and just throw a bit of vinegar on with it. I suppose if I dosed my vinegar that I put on instead of the oil it might do the same trick but I though the oil would drag the flavours out better.

Gidday Hey Boots, if the instruction in the Leder kit are as good as those in the old Leidreiters ones then it is very well explained. The first thing you must do is salt the flesh side of the skin with plenty salt to pickle it. Leave it salted for at least a wee before starting the tanning process....
