Well it depends.. If its small enough I use my chainsaw to cut around the roots and then just pull it out.. But I also have an old 25 ton excavator that will pull out anything at all.

clearing land

I am busy clearing trees on my property. I need to make some area for my garden. I want to have 1 acre ready for the spring, so I can pull the stumps out and start ploughing it in. I live on a 100 acre woodlot.
