One of the things I'd be worried about by having cooks in the front garden is theft. I've had neighbours lose livestock to two-footed foxes, and after that I've always made sure they're well out of sight.
Bit of a downer, but there are some rotten apples that spoil our happy barrel.
Take care

Contact your local branch of the BBKA (http://www.britishbee.org.uk/local_asso ... out_us.php) and they can put you in touch with their swarm contact. Coming up to that time of year so you may be lucky.

That's what my youngest used to do! he'd jump and lift his feet up to 'fly' everywhere used to take twice as long then!, I ended up using a wrist strap after a while as he still needed something, when he had a strop he used to drag his feet and walk behind us so I used to feel like a press gang. The second attempt at this experiment was a complete failure as they brought 20th century folks with 20th century attitudes with them, for it really to work they have to fully educated a...

I have and Underactive Thyroid, it started about the same time as I had DS2, apparently there is a Thyroid condition that is associated with pegnacy and your Thyroid can 'kick in' 2 years or so after birth of the child.
