Re: Earth Hour 2010
We didn'tdo anything here, we try to be mindful ALL year as Im sure you guys do to.
What concerns me most about this Earth Hour is that the vast majority of people think that for them one hour a year is the total sum of their energy saving and in their eyes they've done their bit!

Re: Breadmaker Question. Need Some advice.
What liskeardjane said, I had a few failures with mine and realised it was because i had only put on one tsp salt and not 2! I couldn't believe that that one thing could make such a difference! I leave the bread in the tin for about 5 or so mins after it's finished then it just slides out. I love my...

Re: goats keep dieing
If you had a good system that worked before you brought in new goats, I would be considering them as a possible source of something! Not sure what though, unless they just brought in worms with them. As a preventative measure next time, it you bring in any new animals, quarantine them for a while fi...

Re: goats keep dieing
Goats metabolism is faster than sheep, hence the need for a difference approach to drenching and mineral levels. They need more copper than sheep (the amount a goat needs could kill a sheep). They don't carry the same amount of body fat, nor do they have the "rainproofing" lanolin that she...

Re: Need advice about getting a puppy...
It sounds like any dog will have a wonderful life with you! :thumbright: And one thing I want to add, like you I never liked little dogs! But as well as Clyde(BC) we have Max who's a wee foxie and I don't think I've ever loved a dog quite like I love him. He's a cracking wee dog. Here are my 3, the ...
