i've found that growing things is actually quite easy, just stick them in the ground and do a rain dance. the great thing with children is that you can get them really involved in the whole growing process, meaning they're more likely to eat their vegetables because they have grown them theirselves ...

growing pineapples

Anyone tried growing pineapples? I'm going to this year; I hear all you have to do is make sure they don't get too cold, but how much room do they need? I just want a few growing, not a whole field like in that Elvis film.
