Global warming wasn't even on the horizon when the good life was made.
So you have to look at it from a different angle,
It wasn't a case of save the planet, it was escape the rat race.

Also getting nicked for drink driving was almost unheard of.

Just to let you know that the allotments at eastleigh in Hampshire are in the high court today. the council want to take them over and give the to developers to build on! That's the story on BBC "south today" local news, that's with a (I belive) a 600 people waiting list for a plot :shock:...

Is it? That there is only so much sandstone in Britain! Is that where sand come from?
The beach on our coast is made up with a lot of ground down shells mixed in!

If they are using sand from the sea is that why on new buildings you see white marks over the brickwork? the salt escaping perhaps
