Hey Chaps, I know it's important to consider the vegetarian status of chocolate but please also consider the human cost. Have a look at this link to Wikipedia. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Labor_exploitation_in_the_chocolate_industry Some of the information on here is disputed and I know there has b...

Are you going to do a book signing tour?

Can I be one of your screaming fans? I'll wear a Quaker bonnet so you can spot me.....

I didn't see the programme but I've heard many of the arguements against man made global warming. At the end of the day I don't know everything about global climate systems, no one does. So, for the foreseeable furture I'm not going to take the risk that I may be adversely effecting the climate. At ...

The very centre of Oxford is fairly flat, but as soon as head towards the river or out into the surrounding suburbs there are more hills. Hills just take getting used to, you'll never climb that massive one first time you attempt it and there's nothing wrong with hopping off to push for a while. Eve...

As long as you're not too pale you can use a face mask made of water, oats and haldi (tumeric). The oats make your skin lovely and smooth, I think it's because they're slightly abrasive. Don't do this if you're pale though because the haldi will dye you slightly orange.

Thank you Red.

They were doing so well. :(

I shall have to console myself with some of the Co-Op's fair trade fruit and nut.

Does blight live in the soil and if so, will it be gone next year? Can plant toms in the same place next year?

I've seen one in Oxford so maybe check out the bike shops there. I once saw a man with three kids on his bike: one on a mini tandem attachment at the back, one on a plastic seat on the parcel bit behind the 'driver' and one sat on a small saddle that had been screwed onto the cross bar so the child ...

My Granny's old clothes horse. I've just estimated that over my protracted student days (6 years) it saved me £975. Since then I've lived in a flat so it's continued to save electricity (and thus £'s) by freeing me from the tumble dryer. I love the creaky old thing with its 20 year old clingfilm o...
