Re: Sewing machines
You can pick up Singer treadle sewing machines for a snip (Excuse the pun!) on ebay. They are reliable and are excellent value for money as they cost nothing to run...I would never be without mine. There can be issues with the timing (Where the needle won't pick the stitch up), but this is usually e...

Re: Rosemary
Ornamental ones or for food use? Both.. There is no walnut protein in walnut oil so allergy risks are minimal and it's a drying oil so the finish is durable. Win Win  sounds wonderful :flower: we're planning on making spoons with an errant horse chestnut which has to be removed from the hedge...

Re: Any tips to help back ache.
One thing no one else has mentioned is hydration. Your discs are 90% water. When you are up and about all day, gravity (and lifting), squash some of the water out of the disc and it becomes compressed, trapping nerve roots in between the vertibrae. Drink about a pint of water about an hour before be...

I'll try inviting you, that may work.We tried to look at the green woodworking group, but it won't let us. It may be because we only have a business page not a personal one.

Look for similar sub groups on FB. The spoon carvers and green woodworkers are here: https://www.facebook.com/groups/GreenWoodWork/ Run it by Phillipe Steele (Admin) first though as we've had a few businesses trying to sell stuff on there and that is their only interest in posting. We have about 900...

Re: Rabbit ear mites. Natural remedies
Try dusting their ears with Diatomaceous Earth, no chemicals involved and it's relatively cheap. It works by dehydrating the mites as it dissolves the waxy coating on their exoskeleton. I've used it on my dog with great effect.
Be sure to get the food grade stuff though as they're avid groomers.
