i thnk you have made the right choice to have it later,I know they have been in gardens since time began but folks had bigger families then,bigger extended families,grandparents living with them or next door,or aunts uncles next door etc,even neighbours were on far more familiar terms than many are ...

the gardens front & back t the house have short grass,but the field is well a field :shock: dad mows the perimeters of the plot we have marked out to keep the pests & beasties down the rest is wild.The smalls were up there yesterday but sat on clover?we were looking for a four~er :cooldude: they did...

yuechhh! :? curious,some of ours got hit like this,odd ones n the patch,no pattern to it at all,we assumed it was frost damage as they are up the field,not the more sheltered kitchen garden,there was plenty of rain tho? but we noticed it after a few bargly cold nights hence thinking ti was frsot?
