Good solution for dog doos, Al. When I scrape dog's dirt from the pavement outside, after putting soil over the mess, it gets located under several inches in the garden.

Unusual source, Big Al. Biodegradable is an improvement but still has to go to landfill. I choose to minimise my landfill and so use old-fashioned bags until 100% compostable bags are introduced. It is a bit "not for the male" but I do not care.

The change in attitude in adopting ZWP affects dealings with friends and family. They all are still using plastic bags as I used to and I smile at their actions. One thing is absolutely certain plastic bags (of every possible type today) are a thing of the past for me. Turning your back on the vicio...

She can sustain it daily but my ideas come in bursts so a daily blog is not the right type of vehicle for me. I deal in sta...

The food waste collection system, with home food waste bins, shows the householder the amount wasted. This should encourage more efficient use of food. I buy everything fresh because of ZWP. This food seems to last longer than packaged stuff and so my waste, for composting, is minimal.

This type of organisation is cetainly a good choice for a wide range of activities. They are not perfect. Some waste funds in salaries etc, rather than for the raison d'etre.
