or buy a preloved mei tai on forum such as natural mamas or the babywearer. If using ebay be careful as there are some fakes out there (esp ergos)

Some hospitals aren't keen on you using wipes and provide cotton wool and dishes for water for you. If you are buying wipes try Jackson Reece, they're biodegradable and can get unscented. I agree cotton wool and water are fine for bum changes to begin with, or make reusable wipes from soft flannel on 1 side and terry on the other. When we were in after having ds I just used the hospital nappies and cotton wool. I had reusable nappies in my hospital bag but had a c-section so was in 4...

Moby is a stretchy wrap which is good for little babies but not so good when they get bigger. A woven wrap can be used up to toddlerhood. I've never used a stretchy though so can't advise.

You could try ebay, or natural mamas for sale or trade section. Calin Bleu woven gauze wraps are around £40 new. I got the red one above second hand. a Mei tai might work for you.

just wanted to say thanks for all the tips. My son was born in July and is now 4 months old.
