Re: Horseradish vodka

Ah,I'll just have to keep my eyes open for them.

Re: goji berry, advice needed please

I got a bit curious about the Goji.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Goji
This gives us a lot more, but still no clue why your bush refuses to make berries. :dontknow:
The article did mention that Goji's are grown on the floodplains of the Yellow river.
Perhaps it has some special soil requirements?

Re: What have you got brewing at the moment

Well,that depends...

I found a kit for Muntons barley wine in the back of a kitchen cabinet.
Exp. date Feb 2000 :pale:

The can looks a bit...pressurized.
Should I give it a go just for laughs or call the bombsquad?

Re: Gas bottle wood burner

I love it. :love4: I've been eyeing a couple of those gas cilinders that are gathering dust in a corner of my workplace. The plan for a ''smoky joe''-style BBQ is mostly ready...now for a good moment to persuade my boss to part with them. Oh,nice welding :thumbright: I'm currently almost trough a TI...

Re: goji berry, advice needed please

Just a thought,I'm no expert on fruits and berries,but...
Is the Goji self-pollinating or does it need a mommy/daddy Goji to produce fruit?

Re: Is my cat odd?

Our Norse forest cat called Loki...hates cold, rain and snow. She'll eat anything, including hot peanuts,Thai food, green peas, white beans in tomato sauce etc. And despite munching down everything she can find she's as lean as a ferret. Wodan, our half-breed Norse forest is built like a bull-terrier. H...

Re: Vegetables in the shade

Wild garlic thrives in shady places.
But you might think twice about it if you know how rapidly it spreads...
Still,it's absolutely delicious and is great for flavoured oils, pesto's etc.
