Just had a look at it Andy, nice and simple, though it appeared comments were closed?
Interesting point you made about blackberries; I've got some blackberry whisky going from Prue Coats' recipe, with the sugar. I'm hoping it's not too sweet now!

Had a good crop of chilis in the home built greenhouse this year, so they're coming in and adding flavour to the pickled eggs, as well as making their own chutney. Not made one from a gas cylinder, but I have from a lorry air tank I found- http://i97.photobucket.com/albums/l230/phatphord/burner_done.jpg In truth it needs the legs re-welding on at a more obtuse angle, and the door sealing properly, but it puts out a nice bit of heat.
