That's kind of you. I'm thinking though to get some posted to someone in the uk who would then post them down. Anyway, it's still a bit early, i'll consider my options some more. Thanks all the same.

hellooo, i've been searching online for a source for runner duck hatching eggs and other poultry eggs with the intention of having them posted down to me in Greece (with a kind of fingers crossed attitude, i know they might not survive the journey, but if they do....paradise awaits the lucky ones). ...

Well we got 3 hens from a gypsy with a lorry full and they look clean and healthy but a bit battered. How can I encourage them to perch as the first two nights they've been huddled on the floor and i would rather they perched over the board so poo gathers in one place. I'm going to try and add some ...

buying my first chooks

Off to market on Saturday to buy 3 hens and a cockerel and i'm very excited. What should i look for, avoid or consider? should i go for the biggest or the smallest? What was your chicken buying experience like?

We got our 8 year old a dutch bunny many years ago in the uk and it gave us so much pleasure. Legs can be a bit kicky and sratchy when cuddling but ours never bit. He would follow people around the garden and generally be super cute. He had a hutch and a run but was usually free in the conservatory ...
