Well, the weather forecast for next week has changed so I've gone for it... everything in except the leeks, they are still quite small. I've put out my marigolds too to keep the bugs away. Sure, I bet they would love that :) The eldest can only write a little bit at the moment though. We're lucky to have all sorts of families here, from super-structured to radical unschoolers, so there are all kinds of groups. Not sure what label we would fall under- somewhere in the middle, I guess. ...

What veg have you planted out so far?

I've grown a lot more from seed this year, and I know it's very warm this week but I don't want to jump the gun! I've heard it's going to get cooler next week, especially at night. Has anyone else planted out courgettes, squash, cucumbers, onions, leeks, tomatoes, peppers or chillis yet? All mine ha...

We are :) My two are 5 and 3. They help out a fair bit with the gardening (or at least play so I can get on with it), but we don't have any livestock. There are a fair few families near us, home educating seems to be getting a lot more popular in the UK.

Hi everyone, I live in Cambs and I've just put my name down on the allotment waiting list after I realised that I really can't dig up any more of my lawn to make space for veg :mrgreen: We are planning to emigrate to Canada in a few years where I hope we will be able to be a lot more self sufficient...
