Another tip is to put cardboard covered in tin foil behind your radiators. this refects the heat back into the room rather than to the wall.

You can use almost anything to cover plants, it does not have to be straw use newspapers, plastic tarps or hay. If there is definetly going to be a frost then cover the whole plant before sunset to trap any remaining heat. You could also try using a clotche, I cut the bottom off a pop bottle and put...

Were the spots/specks brown first? This might be a fungus that is well know to effect parsley. If it is I am afraid you might have to destroy what you have and start again. As far as I know there is no treatment.
